Featuring work by Bénédicte Coleman, Judy Fisher, Helen O' Donovan, Siobhain Steele and my personal favourite Diarmaid O' Sullivan, 'Beyond the Ha-Ha, Not to be Confuses with Laughter' was another structured and well-thought curated exhibition at Wandesford Quay Gallery, Cork. With particular focus upon the work of Diarmaid, I really enjoy his tender paint palette; with a concept of such banality, his method and presentation give great power to the mundane objects, giving them a real place in time.

Haroon Mirza - 'Are Jee Be?' at IMMA
The work of Mirza occupies the gallery space individually in that she is site-specific. Mirza allows the video work to interpret the environment, looking again at relativity.

Samuel Beckett
"I realized that Joyce had gone as far as one could in the direction of knowing more, [being] in control of one’s material. He was always adding to it; you only have to look at his proofs to see that. I realized that my own way was in impoverishment, in lack of knowledge and in taking away, in subtracting rather than in adding."
